Ingredients
- 2 cupsplain yogurt — whisked smooth
- 1 largecucumber — grated, drained
- ½ tsproasted cumin powder
- to tastesalt
- 2 tbspfresh mint — chopped, optional
Method
- Drain grated cucumber briefly — raita should be cool, not watery.
- Fold cucumber into yogurt with cumin and salt.
- Chill 20 minutes before serving.
