Ingredients

  • 1½ cupsbasmati ricerinsed
  • 1 tbspghee
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 2¾ cupswater
  • 1 tspsalt

Method

  1. Heat ghee, add cumin until fragrant.
  2. Add drained rice; stir 1 minute.
  3. Add water and salt. Cover and cook on low until steam stops and rice is tender.
  4. Rest 5 minutes, fluff with fork.
