Ingredients
- 1½ cupsbasmati rice — rinsed
- 1 tbspghee
- 1 tspcumin seeds
- 2¾ cupswater
- 1 tspsalt
Method
- Heat ghee, add cumin until fragrant.
- Add drained rice; stir 1 minute.
- Add water and salt. Cover and cook on low until steam stops and rice is tender.
- Rest 5 minutes, fluff with fork.
